Meredith and Alex both went to Furman, yet their paths never crossed while in school. It wasn’t until about a year ago that they finally met—and from the start, they knew something was different. They quickly found that spending time together brought them joy, laughter, and a deep sense of ease. 

Along the way, they’ve discovered new passions together. Alex, an avid tennis player, has loved teaching Meredith the game, while Meredith, a talented gourmet cook, has welcomed Alex into the kitchen for many delicious adventures. Beyond hobbies, they’ve also taken on one of their biggest projects yet—renovating a downtown North Main home to make it their own. Building a life together, quite literally, has been one of their greatest joys.

This past year became even more unforgettable when Alex surprised Meredith with a proposal in Portugal—a moment that was nothing short of perfect. With full hearts, they look forward to celebrating this next chapter with family and friends, surrounded by love.
